the entire linton family must move out of those wretched moors and travel far away, or else heathcliff will continue to punish their family for being soft and forbearing for the remainder of his days, and train his offspring to punish them ceaselessly throughout generations. their children's children bear the consequences of dreadful catherine not marrying dreadful heathcliff decades ago. and again, poor nelly!!!
