so I have to this read in French… for a presentation on Friday… it is Wednesday at midnight. Oh boy

Read the first chapter! I already really like it, as a big fan of Perry I can imagine if as if he was just talking to me. You can really see his personality shine through

Okay so- wow. That’s all I have to say honestly. I am flabbergasted. I don’t know how many times I stopped to process what I just read and the amount of “OH MY GOD” comments I made. Had to force myself to stop reading

more accurate estimate of where I’m at in the book since my pdf version doesn’t have the same amount of pages as the published one

Book is good so far. It feels kind of weird to recognize and visualize the places Ellis is mentioning since I haven’t really read a book that takes place in Chicago quite yet. I’m definitely already intrigued, thought it is still hard to follow at times. I’ll be confused and then I think I start understanding and begin to get slightly confused again. Maybe it’s just too advanced for me lol

I’ve basically just read the first chapter to get started for the night and I’m already hooked. The authors writing style is good but personally a little hard to follow right now (though it’s probably because it’s 3 am and I’m tired.) I’m a bit confused as to what’s going on but I guess that’s the whole point! Excited to see where this goes

Good attention grabber, finding myself kinda skipping over paragraphs so not an amazing start so far but I’m hoping that’ll change. I did read a lot of negative reviews before starting so it I have some unconscious bias towards the book already
