So far this book is amazing. I’m hooked!! There are so many questions and I’m even questioning myself/the narrator. Simply put: omg

I didn’t finish in 24hrs but lord am I having an interesting time with this book

Everyone in this book is sooooo weird. It’s also interesting reading a book from the perspective of an older character.

So far so good. I’m interested and hooked meaning I will keep reading. However, so far it just seems like the author is trying to have this book come off as more interesting, funny, quirky and enjoyably unusual than it needs to be. I still have a while to go so hopefully this gets better!!

Im getting bored. I don’t have it in me to finish the last 50 pages, and truly I don’t think I will.

And the PLOT THICKENSSS (I hate it)

The prose and story line and structure of this book are very comparable to that on Sally Rooney. In particular, ‘Normal People’ comes to mind. The way Mellors pulls you into the story and gets you hooked on her retelling of everyday experiences and emotions is admirable. I believe this book will easily become a favorite of mine.
