Because I love my new kindle but can’t utilize it fully because I don’t want to spend any money and the library doesn’t carry an e-book version of everything, I’m living for the free samples. And once I finish the free sample on kindle, I open the hard copy I’ve already rented from the library.

This novel is either going to move me or make me feel depressed. So far it’s a little bit of both.

I HATE Frederick. In fact, I can’t remember ever hating a character more than I hate Frederick.

I am very excited to shout into the void that I am Kindle girl now (I have a kindle!).

Just as I’m starting to feel silly for not piecing together how these women are connected they spell it out in a single sentence. So far, I’m intrigued!

Although it’s about murder, this is a very cute book so far.

I will be purchasing this book to own.

The thing that sucks about finding a book you enjoy so much is that you still have other responsibilities and can’t read for as long as you want to.

The main character has god awful problem solving skills, but it makes the book very entertaining.

“You’re Catholic, of course?”
“Yes,” I say, even though I am an atheist lesbian.

John Green does a good job of gently reminding the reader that we shouldn’t pity people just because their lives differ so much from our own. Very respectfully written.

Why is there always a pedophile?

Favorite line so far: But I can’t go out with a guy who’s written eleven and a half pages in three years. That kind of thing is contagious.

I have a feeling this book is going to make me feel a very specific kind of sad.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, boom: a pedophile.
