I fell off my Reacher at the end of the summer and picked this up last week. Missed his adventures and dismayed that I’m nearing the end of his series. Hoping Andrew Child keeps the stories coming .

Starting this book during Pride Month was a nice coincidence.


First, Dr Martins covers are beautiful.

Secondly, I love reading fiction books which feed the science part of my brain.

I miss living in the Carolinas as well as feeding my wanderlust.

Looking forward to the rest of this reading adventure

Not mind boggling, but interesting

I grew up in N California when Joe Montana & Steve Young were playing in the shadow of 49er mania. I’m really enjoying this book, particularly the mindset which drives Young on and off field (I didn’t realize how many players go to law or med school during the off season) and the depth of his faith.

I really like this book!

I picked up this book as a break from my nonfiction & historically based fiction but am really enjoying it. The settings and descriptions of Toronto & Seoul appeal to my chronic wanderlust. The unseen but palpable racism in contemporary society speaks to me. I’m really enjoying it.
