Making my way through!!

It’s slow going tbh but the writing is challenging enough to where I’m invested and not overwhelmed

So sad and reflective and heavy… but wow, Lionel is such a gifted and eloquent writer…

Trying to finish the books I started last year!! I read too many at a time smh

So dark and rich and gothic, I love it

So my book club chose another easy-to-read novel with threadbare substance LOL. How come no one wants to read canonical stuff? :D

This book is SO good😭

It’s written in a similar style to Twilight by Stephanie Meyer… Veronica feels reminiscent of Bella - taking care of her dad who can’t fend for himself, keeping house, cooking in her free time, etcetera. It’s weird how similar the writing style and voice is.

Ughh this book is so good so far. I LOVE old classics😭

It’s truly not the most exciting, but it’s kinda homey and sweet - it keeps you turning the pages.

Reading this for a book club. It’s not poorly written at all, but the plot is pretty bare so far. We’ll see how it goes👀
