Sometimes, revisiting books that were childhood classics for me is a good way to be inspired.

I haven’t related to a short story as much as I’ve related to, ‘Galloping Foxley’, for a long time. It gets me thinking, ‘Where are they now?’

I haven’t read this book since I was in high school! Now I remember why I loved it so much. Can’t stop reading it!

I think I might swallow this entire collection in one sitting….

This is one of those times when I don’t know what I’m reading…. 🥴

I’m loving how experimental these stories are! The one thing I’m having a hard time with, though, is that it feels like the writer is holding back from what he actually wants to show us. Horror is the only genre, in my opinion, that strives to make sure we writers don’t have to do that.

All I want to do is sit here and finish this book. I normally don’t sit and have reading binges, but this poetry collection makes me want to binge until it’s gone!
