Fantastic. One part that will stick is the naming of Julian’s daughter and the struggle with his mother’s name Cora. He remembers only being used in disgust by his father but wonders if he can give it a new meaning.

Gordon- like his father and then he isn’t. The sad life Cora had to endure and the children knowing but avoiding until they stopped hiding and supported her.

Julian- he’s nothing like his father even though he’s afraid he could be. He and Maya struggle with the loss of their mother. Sweet grandma and Kian and how their lives were also changed because of the choices.

Bear- he is his name sweet and cuddly and brave and strong. Beautiful boy with a beautiful life and family. Maya was free to be herself and happy and Cora had great friends and a happy ending. Awful situation at the beginning eventually brought them together and somewhat healed by the end.

Is it “the names” or the people in your life? The parental involvement or lack thereof. I love the “what if”stories and how different directions a life can take depending on a choice or circumstance that changes everything.

Not my usual genre but it’s quirky and funny making all the nerdy stuff interesting and digestible. Excited and Julian listening along too.

Flight fight freeze or FAWN. Maya learning to placate her father at a young age was so sad. And now walking through the extreme variations of their lives is mind blowing.

Part love story, part revenge redemption with some history and a strong female lead = my type of book.

Finished. I guess the ending made it better but it was a lot of back and forth and I got bored.

🔥👌🏼poor thing. Was exiled from exile for being a nazis daughter and not even knowing. All the pain and anguish but still she persisted. And now in Hollywood she continues w her revenge 20 yrs later.

All the things. Her husband is alive, the bad guy was her father 🤯 I like how transparent she is with her guilt and emotion and how she is always on stage.

Meh. Kind of interesting but lots of back and forth detectives that gets a little redundant. They tried to make you believe one thing when I knew that wasn’t the truth and now going all around.

Exciting enough to keep me picking it up regularly. Really enjoy the honesty in this woman. NFG.

Loved that this was different. Female relationship and NASA astronauts not war for a historical fiction. Writing was good but not perfection.

Loved. The happy and sad and beautiful quotes.

Heaven is living your best now forever. I’m so fortunate to have so many amazing nows and hopefully have many more to come.

It’s a long life, but fast one single step in the right direction can be enough.

Art is coincidence love is chaos. This book is beautiful and ugly painful and funny at the very same time.

Loved it. The style and stories and characters. Not what I would normally pick and wouldn’t have been interested had I read the description. But it was art, the love the characters and the video games. So good.

No not Marx! So sad. I wasn’t sure I like him but now I realized I did. He’s the easy to love optimistic person everyone needs in their life. Game over no more lives left to play. And Sadie’s pregnant 😭

Not something I would normally go for but loving the characters and their connections. I even like the retro video games and coding information. I keep switching sides between Sadie and Sam but like them both.

Loved this book the story and the characters but hated the world they lived in. Needing a husband’s signature for birth control and a checking account is wild. While I know there is much to be done on the equality front I’m grateful for the women before me who did so much.

Took me a second to learn the characters but I do love them all now. Margaret the author, Bitsy the animal lover, Charlotte the badass and Vivian the nurse and mother of 7!

Easy read. Nothing magical but overall entertaining.

Not my favorite. Predictable and boring at times. The characters were cute but expected.
