Needed a fluffy easy read, but this audiobook narration is SO bad. I am going to have to switch over to reading.

11 minutes in and I am already teary.

I am already loving this. I am learning so much and constantly researching. The writing is also so refreshing and well done.

I go through these books very slowly. Each chapter is a person's story, so I read one about every week or so. I love these woman, their stories, their courage, and faith. It is always recentering for me to read their stories.

Ugh. I don't think I can keep reading this. So many 1 and 2 star reviews on this book echo my exact feelings. I am enjoying the facts and the quotes, but her asides and tangents are getting to me. The thought that keeps coming to me is that I feel like I am reading a high schooler's essay. 😬

As someone with a history degree, an absolute love for history, and thinks Sharon does great things, this may be a DNF for me. The writing is so hard to read. It bounces around so much in topic, opinion, and fact. This might be why she's so successful on the internet and social media because that style fits the rapid jumbled pace of the internet, but it does not work for a book.

The overuse of "honey" is awful. And so not in line with who the character is.

Loving it otherwise

I'm only 23 minutes into listening, and I love it already. Imogen Church is one of my favorite audiobook narrators.

The Girl with the Louding voice is one of my all-time favorite books. Because of that, I have high hopes for this book. I hope it doesn't disappoint! So far, so good! 47 pages in, and I'm already hooked!
