Ich habe das Buch angefangen, weil der Film zu meinen absoluten Lieblingsfilmen gehört, also war das Buch längst überfällig. Man merkt zwar, dass einiges anders ist als im Film, aber nicht schlecht anders. Die Charaktere haben deutlich mehr Tiefe und man erfährt vieles, das im Film fehlt.

Ich springe aktuell zwischen Buch und Hörbuch hin und her und muss sagen: Die Sprecherin macht einen großartigen Job.

Die Game Changer Szenen sind die besten und spannendsten Kapitel bisher, endlich passiert mal etwas lol. Shoutout an das Zelda Cosplay, loved that, me lowkey.

Boa keine Ahnung also irgendwie ist es so langweilig. Kuss gab’s schon gefühlt in den ersten paar Kapiteln und es passiert absolut nichts spannendes. Ich hab kein Bock das abzubrechen weil ich so hohe Erwartungen hatte, aber ufff…

Okay ich nehme meinen vorherigen Kommentar zurück, die Stimme ist ja Teil von der Geschichte, und der Protagonistin, also macht’s Sinn lol

Irgendwie werde ich leider, leider, leider gar nicht warm mit der Sprecherin. Die Stimme passt so gar nicht zu der Protagonistin, nach meinem persönlichen Empfinden und meinem gedanklichen Bild. Der Sprecher, Top. Aber leider stört es mich schon echt. Vielleicht switche ich doch auf das Buch 🥲

Adam finally showed his true colors and I’m so glad Juliette finally got the message. Now I need her to just be with Aaron and everything’s okay! Thanks Kenji for keeping everyone in check, he deserves the world. Don’t even get me started on Aaron. He so??? <3

God damn Adam Kent. When is it your time to finally piss off. I’m so tired of you.

Oh, I am devouring these chapters with Aaron and Juliette. I love them so much. I love hearing Aaron talk. Please never stop. Just tell me about your day, your life, everything. I’m all ears. I’m listening.

Thank you Kenji for continuously giving Juliette a reality check and getting her out of her pathetic self pity about her and her life. I get it. She did have a rough life, but Kenji is right. You either drown in your own self pity or make something out of whatever power you have. At some point you have to accept it. ALSO, WARNER MENTIONED!! THE DOG SCENE?? MY GOD! <3

Okay so I’m starting to really like Kenji. I couldn’t really warm up with him in the first book but I do quite like him now! Although I need Adam to just get the hell out, he’s just so boring. I have to mention that his little “secret” or whatever it is, is quite interesting. So I’m tuned in for that. Juliette was a bit dramatic, but aren’t we all? Can’t wait to continue!
