This book starts to make me think of Pan's Labyrinth. It's not magical, mystical, because only Del Toro can be that creative, but it just has that vibe. The dad is starting to turn towards the dark side of the bottle and his actions make me fear for the little girl. Sticking with it, it's going to be great.

Apparently page 131 is the end of the book......but it isn't. 400 more pages to go goodreads. But thanks for cheering me on.

Remember when you get to the part where the main character has to crawl into this tiny hole in the cave wall because he needs to crawl through to freedom? Then the main character starts to remember that he's claustrophobic and he starts to freak out? Remember how you felt reading it when you realized that the car is too flipping small and if you don't get out now you're going to suffocate!?

I feel like I'm in a car that is constantly stalling out. It just starts to get good and then ........nothing. Like 50 pages of nothing. Then it starts to get really good again.......then nothing.
