Alors vraiment je suis d'une perplexité perplexante. C'est mal écrit mon dieu, c'est passé par plusieurs éditeurs?? (et je ne veux pas entendre l'excuse de ses origines, j'ai lu d'autres auteurs Haïtiens, ils n'écrivent pas comme ça).

I would like to thank my library who had this in their English section (they have an amazing selection honestly), because this is such beautiful prose. Also short stories are perfect for public transportation

It's currently over 30° in Paris which feels exactly how I imagine the Australian desert to be, so that's the perfect time to start this series

Technically a re read, pretty sure I read this one when it came out (but wasn’t logging my books on Goodreads). I want to remember the characters when I read Caleb so here we go. I’m having a terrible month so this better fix me

The plan is to read all three today which is in my wheelhouse as I did it with another trilogy of hers. Just went for an hour long walk (close your rings people) so I have no plan but sitting on my couch and reading (this makes me so very happy) ( I love sundays)

The fact that Espera is Wait and looks so much like the French Espérer (to hope) is fascinating to me (I love langages)
