SHELLEY IS SO FUCKED UP WHAT THE HELL

The story is interesting so far. Gross and disturbing. Not quite the “horror” I was expecting but it’s really starting to ramp up. I have no idea how it’s going to end. I’m excited to finish this one. It’s a brand new genre for me— might be the start of something good.

Started this 2days ago and I’m already on chapter 33. It’s a surprisingly easy read. Feels like a TV show the way the chapters are played out. I’m enjoying it so far. The one spicy scene was vague and lack luster but some of the things Tamlin says is just !!!!

I’m curious to see how things will wrap up. 100% going to continue the series.

Literally my last update I was talking about how she’s hinting at the poison apple and the very next chapter Winter eats the sour apple candy. Nice foreshadowing bc in the very beginning of the book she’s eating the sour apple candy.

Just started CH62 and I feel like the author is hinting at bringing in the poisonous apple into the mix. Levanna is talking about no longer being merciful to Winter so idk. There’s been a lot of action but not at the same time?? I’m worried it might all get rushed in the end. Still a great story and great characters. Love how they all mingle and work together.

Just got to CH 45. Lowkey obsessed with Kinney (kinda reminds me of my keeney cat lmfao). Everyone is separated again. I’m glad to see the POV went back to Cress and Jacin, even if it was just for a chapter. Idk how I didn’t see it coming but Adri and Pearl being in the jail cell on Luna gave me whiplash. Curious to see how they get out of this one

A lot of action has happened. I’m glad most of the gang is back together. (Scarlet and Wolf’s reconnection was seriously so cute and so well done). The speech scene was kind of cheesy. Everyone literally bowing down to her at the end??? Okay lol. I’m having fun reading it though and still have a lot to get through. I’m going to be so sad to see it end.

CH 25- WTF??? Levanna is crazy. I can’t believe she wants Jacin to kill her own step daughter.

Just finished CH 24. 1/4 of the way done and there’s so much action and suspense already. Seriously love how all the characters tie in together like how Jacin realizes the girl Winter found is Cress. The way the Luna world is described reminds me of the Hunger Games (districts and capitol, district 12 with the dust) Wolf and his mom reconnecting was such a sweet moment. Beautifully worded and lots of imagery.

On CH 13. There’s a lot of little Easter eggs about the original Peter pan story; like when James says “Wendy, darling” or how the drugs they push is called “pixie dust”. It’s been fun finding those little details. James is a lot darker of a character than Cade (imo). Some of the things he’s said… WTF. But I’m excited to read more. Love the whole “innocence” thing going on with Wendy

I’m on Chapter 13 and I’m so excited to read more. I literally have to pace myself so I don’t get burnt out. I love the reconnection of Kia and Cinder and love the dynamic between Winter and Jacin. I’m curious to see how she implements the whole “poisonous apple” thing. Also can’t wait to see how Throne comes to terms with his feelings for Cress. Loveee it so much already
