This might actually end up getting a 5 stars in the end I feel like, which I was not expecting in the slightest

Tell me why out of this 491 page book a huge ass chunk of 277 pages is set in the past, when he started telling his story I thought it would be 20 pages maybe, not over half the fucking book 😭 I looked at where it ends and the chapter after the past is picking up exactly from the conversation started the chapter before he starts telling her finally. Kmn 😭

I knew this was coming and this was part of the plot but based on my own personal taste I hate stuff like this being introduced in romance books 😭

Who the hell actually has the confidence to speak that way to someone literally the first time they meet them whether they’ve been in prison or not. Also the sit tattoo?!? What the hell 💀 if I saw someone in real life with a tattoo saying sit above their eyebrow I’m running away 💀
