Liking it so far! how everything connects well to future events and haymitch’s attitude. Stuff with Lou-Lou is very creepy though.

Whew. 😰 I’m doing the audiobook and Held Evans’ unashamed honesty is A LOT. I’m struck by how she reminds us that we should not remain SO confident about our own human (or other humans) interpretation of scripture. The Earth being the center of the universe was once paramount to Christianity, and doubters were ousted. What do we hold as “necessary” to be or believe to be Christian in 2026?

I’ve struggled to start this book since I got it from the library a few weeks ago. But if I tell others to read from other perspectives, I should too…. With a whole lot of prayer to calm my anxious heart.
