CAUGHT 😂😂😂 I literally busted out laughing! Idk how I thought they would get caught, but Darcy is an asshole 😂😂.

The camera in the clothes closet at the office had me audibly laugh!!! That was a good little surprise! 42 pages left! I’m intrigued actually.

Started off annoying because of her constantly putting herself down, had some funny moments with Eric, good intimate moments (Fourth Wing has better ones lol), and her friends are actually good friends. Brian is whack, but with his explanation I’d forgive him. Now we have to see if she’ll actually get back with him… I hope not. Also Darcy is a good and sacrificing mom just not emotionally available lol.

“His own flesh and blood had raped a young woman. It was the most heinous of crimes. A crime committed by weirdos and woman haters, not your own father.” This book’s whole story line revolves around this one fact lol.

I’m lowkey salty that it’s taking so long to get to the part where they get together. Like I get the suspense but I’m honestly getting angry lol. Plus the ex husband is getting on my nerves with his delusions like bro you’ve never been the wiser! I want Cahal and Sarah to be together now!!!

I cried smh.

Because I know what’s going to happen, I’m anxious to read the rest. This book flows so well and tells about the different aspects of families especially in rural areas. I appreciate that Leslie and Jesse have a regular friendship, a real friendship. I like that they pondered how to get back at Janice Avery for May Belle instead of being too hasty. Idk, it’s just a good book.

It’s crazy to think this book full of killing, kidnapping, starvation, lying, stealing, etc. is a children’s book. Lord Spittleworth has done nothing but commit horrible crimes for his own greed. He has no loyalty and it’s sad. I’m intrigued to see what Bert, Roderick, Martha, and Daisy are going to do. Also, it’s so cute that Bert got caught up in the orphanage with Daisy. I love a happy ending!

I promise I don’t just read children’s books, but I’m reading books I’ve always said I’d read and never did lol. Anyway, so far this story is pretty juicy. We have a bunch of lying wannabes and two families caught in the middle. I like that they have drawings from actual kids about what’s happening in the book.

I’m not gonna lie, I have not been able to keep up with the ancestry even with the little bits of “explanation” from Meg of Charles Wallace who r whoever is talking at the time lol. Only certain people can use the rune? Or the rune only works at certain times? IDK 💁🏽‍♀️ at this point I’m hoping it all makes sense at the end lol. Meg is lowkey annoying me even though she’s in like 2% of the book.

I think I need to not think so hard as to why the Murphy family is the chosen family lol. It seriously makes no sense, but I guess it doesn’t need to make sense. The author has yet to tell what Meg has been doing for the last 10 years other than she married Calvin and became pregnant. What happened to her ambitions of being like or better than her mother? There’s always some weird animal lol… a unicorn lol

This is where they are trying to murder Zylle for being a witch all because she’s a Native American with blue eyes. Seriously, people have to stop putting their jealousy and misunderstandings in the way. Being upset and wanting to murder someone because they look better than you, talk more eloquently, or have more fun than you do, etc. is stupid and childish and yet it’s still happening today.

This is my first time actually reading the Bible. I am realizing that the stories that are made into these long drawn out stories are only like a page long in the Bible and aren’t as descriptive as some may try to say. For example, the way Cain killed Abel is not explicitly told although there are multiple versions of and books about the murder. It’s just cool to start understanding for myself.

Awwww Meg and Calvin are married, Meg is pregnant, the twins are in medical and law school, and the father is alive lol. I like how this book just went ten years in the future from the previous book. But yet again, Charles and Meg have to go on another quest to save the world smh.

I’m just glad that I still have a chance of being right!!! Someone has been arrested and everything and I’m still not convinced. 26 more pages lol.

I’m 100 pages shy of the end and I am standing on business about the son doing it lol. I know there really isn’t any evidence pointing to him other than he was the only person in the house. I just am not easily swayed by all the ruckus taken place with the investigators right now. They’re going back and forth tryna point the finger and I don’t fall easily lol. So by tonight I’ll know the truth!!

Why did I think this book was based on true events. I got so far and was like “I’ll watch the real documentary after this”. That shows you how good the writing is haha. So far, it’s a great story and I think the son, Guy Howard, did it… it’s seems like a story that would twist to the absolute least likely person and that’s him.

So far, I still don’t understand why Calvin is apart of this series. He literally does nothing lol. Meg has no character development. She is still impatient, angry, and self-deprecating. I thought she was like that because her father was gone in the first book, but now it’s just who she is (maybe because she’s a teenager?). Charles Wallace being the chosen one is still so random. This book is nonsense.

I’m actually getting tired of Meg always talking about how ugly she is or that she is not as beautiful as her mother. Charles Wallace is tired of it too.

I’m not sure why people don’t like this book. Sure Meg and Charles Wallace are a bit much, but it works for the plot. I like the little hints of liking between Meg and Calvin. I like the brotherly and sisterly love between Meg and Charles Wallace. I like the random bits of hard science that I have to read twice to make sure I understand. I like the way the mother is trying to be strong for her children.
