Language is grandiose, very descriptive and vague. Plot is so far nonexistent. Would maybe like the book further in but I can’t get past the ridiculous descriptions, metaphors, similes, etc. - i feel like I’m wading through all of it to get to the actual story

Book started off good and interesting, quick pace which was nice but between the last chapter and this one all of a sudden the king loves her and she’s “his”. There wasn’t enough build up to give credibility to these declarations - it feels too rushed and artificial. DNFing
