Well, I've decided to switch to audio for The Silver Pigs, and am enjoying it much more in that medium. I have no idea why, but the actual book wasn't grabbing me.

Wow. It looks like I may finish a book this year!

Slowly getting back into the reading habit.

Well, I hoped that 2021 would get me out of my book slump, but said slump seems to be continuing. : ( I just can't concentrate on anything for any length of time.

Sooo...Corran doesn't know what Wedge looks like? He's never seen a holo, never had a class he taught? Weird.

Really good so far. Interesting premise.

I'm actually reading this for the first time. I'm not fond of omnibuses. On novel #1: Hunting Party.

Making good time on this. So far, Taro seems largely absent from the narrative. I'm not sure what's going on there.

I'm on chapter 10 now, and I'm confused. This book is slow. It's not what I expected. There is a terrorist in this town, yet there doesn't seem to be any threat or tension yet.

I like the characters overall, and I like the concept, but I'm waiting for the stakes to be raised.

I never finished this, and have no idea what's going on, so I have to restart.

Why is everyone, across several systems, butting in to Ky's love life?

I am enjoying this. It's not historically accurate, at all, but most 'historical' romances aren't. Still, I love the characters, and it has a light tone to it. A warm cup of tea, which is just what I need right now.

Finally starting the 'last' of the Ky Vatta series, after all this time.
