I’m obsessed with this book. Matthew and Leni are so heartwarming and heartbreaking. Someone else please read so we can talk. Nothing bad could possibly happen to my favorite characters in the remaining 250 pages right.. haha.. 😅

My heart aches for Leni and her mama, I want to just go up to Alaska and rescue them. Feeling very inspired by Leni and her ability to pick up on situations and her bravery. Loving this book so far.

Is this the most well written mystery I’ve read? No, but it is still enticing and leaves me curious about who really done it. I like the characters and having two timelines, past and future, to figure out the mystery is fun. There are a lot of foil characters to each other and I like seeing the similarities between the lives of the sisters. Excited to finish this book, my first physical book read of 2026.

On chapter 8 now, listening to the audiobook. Very pleasant narrator.

I’m seriously loving this book so much. It is funny, sweet, heartwarming and I love hearing about all the historical events from the perspective of these charming people. So happy to learn that this is a series.

I’ve read this book about half way before but I am just reminded that I love it so much. I also love the short chapters. It’s so covertly witty and I love that girlhood extends centuries.

Loving this book, it was kind of slow in the beginning but I keep getting surprised. Law and order meets call the midwife meets felicity the American girl doll 😂😂😂
