I am surprised at how little I like this book so far... I do not sympathise with the old gods, the new gods, or the main character. The story is full of sideline little stories and (irrelevant?) details, and so far I cannot decipher why those are there - they don't ACTUALLY add depth, or help seamlessly set the scene, they are inserted in an artificial and brute manner. I hope I will finish the book.
