Idk how this will end, but I hope once the truth comes out… everyone in that family disowns their dead father. Because I can’t stand one more family member sticking up for that awful pos of a man who deserved way worse and suffering. He should have lost everything while he was alive. He got off way too easy. I don’t think I’ve ever hated a fictional parent so much in my life.

Everyone in this book is p!sing me off except for Cayson. Even the mom. She had to know about the abuse or suspect it. Kids typically don’t act up for no reason. And why did most of the brothers have history of f-ck ups? Another common sign of abuse.

Dnfd this book. I’ve tried really hard. Evan is not at all how I thought he was in The Stars are on our side. I feel like the second author is the issue here since I have loved most of Jennifer’s other books.
