Either I read four books or eight this month—maybe straight up read yuri tits on my laptop to cope. I should not compare myself to anyone that has read more books than me. Ever since I started my reading journey after some years, I feel extra slow. cause— whew I wish i could be like little me who read holes and Percy Jackson books in a month.

There’s this weird thing with booktok or anywhere outside of here. Where people caring too much what others read, like if it’s pure smut or whatever sub genre it is, it’s frown upon. I think people really forgotten most read for their own pleasure. Like no one is weird if they stick to a niche, you can’t force others to read the way you do. It’s a whole dictatorship group out there

The war on books is happening again on Twitter and I too have opinions but I fear if I start—I will not shut up.its a woah moment tho, cause I avoided a certain author because I wasn’t sure if I was ready to handle her works yet.I don’t know if I’ll come around to them to form my own opinion, it’s definitely not looking good for her.

I hate it when I buy a book online, new too and the edges are already so bad. Like I’ll rather be the cause of those edges being messed up, i havent even read it yet 😔! Plus it came directly from the author and autographed as well.I rather not complain much about it,but my head like say something (ITS DUMB)

Okay what the fuck, does this author know my mom?my mom isn’t southern (she’s salvi and technically I am, not that country tho) but we do live in Georgia like in this book but..yet it is like reading my mother 😭
