Chapter 7. Now we getting some 🌶.


I havent read a book with this type of magic. The skulls and adornments sound so beautiful and I really need some fanart of these things. I dont want to look it up and spoil anything.

Half way! I gotta slow down before I finish it before book club catches up. I'm liking this a lot *-*. Half way though and what's this girl's affinity? -.-;;

Struggling a bit. She has too much power over a guy thats supposed to be badass. 64 percent and its bedtime because honestly all I can handle right now. But jeeeeeez the cupcake phase is annoyingly strong in the book rn. I'm literally skipping the spice to get to some story.

I dont wanna be a spoiler, but I also feel like im losing my mind a little bit. Okay okay I get the romance, but considering the "stalking" issue and the risks of there being too much information and possible bugs/ eyes on her... why be so careless and give into the "romance" instead of mention anything thats happened in his absence? Like... maybe I havent read it yet, but should've been first discussion! Ugh.

Oh my gods, its 3am. Im finally at the part of secrets unraveling. I just kept going to the next chapter. I need to sleep!

I'm so close to finishing.. I enjoy the fantasy of it, sorta, Onuna is clearly earth? But jeez, the pair of them are so annoying and talk like teenagers first discovering intimacy or something when they're over 1000 years old.. like wth is with that?

How am I only 64% done?! I feel like I've been reading this book for days. Over half done and still it feels like not much has happened! It's like watching slice of life or filler episodes. Please pick up the pace. How is this book rated so high? So much information is repeated over and over. At this point, I may just skim through the rest of the book because it's draining me. Midnight now, so I'm going to bed.

This book is long. I feel like I've read so much and I've barely made progress.
