DNF’ing this. it’s actually so painful and I cannot recommend enough you never pick this series up no matter how much someone may tell you to. I cannot believe my own flesh and blood, my sister, enjoyed this and thought I would too 😔

I don’t recall when I actually started this but listened to the majority of this today… anyways this sh*t is dookie doo doo. I can’t even hate read the rest of the series I fear

Truly an inspiring story. The atrocities then were so severe, I still find it difficult to realize them. Highly recommend if you're interested in the intersectional struggled of black women
