Moving through this audio like a salty slug

The pace of this book is giving me slow burn without the burn. It’s just slow.

I hate that I’m struggling through this 😭

I’m so sad that I’m having the hardest time getting into this book.

"Books are easily destroyed. But words will live as long as people can remember them. Tattoos, for example, are very hard to forget. I think there's something about the impermanence of life these days that makes it necessary to etch ink into our skin. It reminds us that we've been marked by the world, that we're still alive.
