I’m saying it now this is my book of the year. This is so far my absolute favorite book that I’ve read in a LONG time.

(Started it to see why my fav band decided to call themselves Ice Nine Kills)

Chapter 18:
Grief heavy reflections

Rule one of being friends with hot guys: don’t get caught drooling

First story: interesting yet predictable
Second story: didn’t hold my interest
Third story: why are we in SVU all of a sudden?

Spoilers:
Starts with SA. Not a fan.
Goes into being smut. The dynamic between the two just really doesn’t do it for me. May be good for some people but it is hard to feel okay with the smut side after the rape..
(I’m out of Spotify listening hours now so I can’t finish this until about two weeks from now..)

Pink cocktail is a lil difficult if you’re squeamish. Even if you know the process of embalming.
Fascinating read so far tho!!

Spoilers for the chapter called The Family M:

Imagine being so petty to children that you convince your landlord to install soda machines in the building for the sole purpose that the kids will fall and maim themselves on broken glass. Only to have them almost be actually killed in a car accident to finally start caring about them as humans.

Is this in the same realm as ACOTAR? So many uses of similar words and concepts like the cauldron, the importance of spring equinox, Illyrian?

Really good so far tho, especially when you remember to separate this story from the ideas of ACOTAR.

I’m IN LOVE with this so far holy hell. ADORABLE!
