I’m not enjoying this pull and push between Kai and Paedyn. Paedyn is constantly running from Kai and refusing to admit to her feelings- that’s it’s starting to piss me off. Kai is still as smitten as ever - evident is almost every scene between them when he says “let’s pretend for this moment”. Can they just own up to each other and fully commit? I’m annoyed

Crying at the fact that Adena is no longer with us

Okay so what happened to Adena? where did she go, is she still in the palace or back in the Loot? After the ball, she just disappeared and now I’m wondering what happened to her.

Literally on the edge of my seat reading this- i’m in the midst of the action right now.

Ugh I wish there was more scenes of Violet and Xaden together

Violet keeps asking for full disclosure- yet doesn’t ask any questions to Xaden when given the chance

can’t put this book down- i love the relationship between violet and tairn. The way they banter and talk is so fun to read, they’re some of my favourites scenes so far

I think I’m liking Xaden more than Dain…

I think i’m in way too deep, I have to commit to finishing it now- but there’s something that feels off about this book
