i've been searching for some more narrative nonfiction akin to my beloved copy of midnight in the garden of good and evil, and i think i've found it in this book (shoutout to liam st. john for writing a song inspired by the case in the story or i never would have discovered this!). loving this so far and i can't wait to read the harper lee-focused half next 🙏

this one is definitely very technical, but i'm enjoying all the case studies!
