I’m going to be honest, I have been procrastinating way too much when it comes to finishing this book. It’s not bad, it’s just that I’m already sure how the ending will go…

this is literally the plot of legally blonde but medieval and I’m totally into it?? what? like it’s hard? *holding a sword*

this book has been disappointing me in multiple ways but I have to admit… this sex scene was lowkey fire

it was actually a great development between the main character and the writing went hard

idk the past few chapters have been doing a great job at redeeming Kaine’s awful personality

this bitch ass book is putting me in a reading slump

every time I think “oh he’s not that bad” he says something that makes him 100x worse.

just when I thought “oh things aren’t doing THAT bad” things start doing worse 😭😭 this book is just endless suffering there is not a single drop of joy in it

(atp I accepted that the flashback is not JUST a flashback but it’s the entire second and third part of the book)

the flashbacks are so annoying like we were in a decisive moment for the plot and the author just decided to put over 100 pages of flashback memories in the middle of it

like yea cool she worked in the resistances hospital wow how interesting can we please go back to the part where she’s literally dying??

oh my god this book is soooooo boring and the protagonist is UNBEARABLE!

this will take me a while to finish especially because the letters are so small. I would prefer if there were more pages in the book but with a bigger lettering… i’m tired of squinting

unless the book turns out to have an awesome ending (which it probably won’t) this book will have been a waste of time

although I understand the protagonist I fail to understand a point she made earlier on how women need men. I don’t think we need them at all so i’m hoping to either change my mind or see if the author changes her mind

I just can’t connect with the mmc… he’s giving me the ick

the main character is a sweetie pie though, I just don’t see what she sees on him

the horse has more personality than the mmc

so far so good, not a big fan of the mmc though so i’m hoping for some development

this is giving me high school flashbacks in the worst way possible

i’m enjoying the book though, it’s a relief to see such an accurate representation of going through high school while dealing with mental health problems at the same time. I just kind of wish that I could give the protagonist a hug and tell her that everything will be okay.

I feel like after he saw that Blythe recognized the tune he hummed he was able to connect the dots

I’m sure that Blythe herself may not have figured things out yet but Fate is definitely suspicious

this book is a lot more bridgerton esque than the last one (the last one had more of a gothic vibe) but at the same time there’s so much more at stake and im OBSESSED.

I might finish it tonight if it’s that good
