I'm struggling with this. I just don't see why it won awards. The first 100+ pages are just the tedious perspectives of two teenagers. I live in depth character work but I'm not connecting with these ones.

Call me a buzz kill but the Toot Toot/Lacuna thing isn't cute or funny. Pursuing someone who doesn't want you after they have clearly communicated their lack of interest is wrong whether it's people or faerie creatures. (And no, just because faeries and vampires regularly do it to Harry does not excuse it).

DNFing at page 189. I really enjoyed the writing at first and found it really clever but unfortunately it's now only tedious. There have been also several instances of factual inaccuracies that I'm not certain were on purpose or not. I really don't understand the structure of stories among little mini-essays and anecdotes.

In what way does learning this agent's life improve the story. I was shocked when a character thought about how everything had happened in a couple of hours.
