David Kaiser is finished with Yellowface
Really can't recommend this one. I got the overall story concept, but the whole thing seemed to lack in both development of the main characters, and story development.

Just started this one, but so far every story has been either impactful or delightful to read.

Reading this one for the Jan 23rd meeting of Thoughtful Thinkers https://www.meetup.com/the-thoughtful...

Chapter 20 had me laughing out loud in public. This is Geddy's character as both a jokester and his serious persona of public performance. Great reading.

I could hardly finish pages 70-71, just thinking about how much love a man would have that he would walk 100's of miles on foot, for over six months, to reunite with a woman that he loved. God blessed Moishe and Manya with true love!

Completed chapter two "Grief", and as others have pointed out, it is based quite a bit on personal memories of the author, and notably light in scientific explanation. Having said that, I believe most readers should read it and not skip.

The first chapter is a very compressed review of geometric principles, but it is very worth reading from the start. The author is introducing aspects of geometry (planes, infinity, fractals, etc) which will be related to how we grieve, in following chapters.

I was really moved by the quote: "There is no contact between human beings that does not affect both of them."
