currently rereading bc i’m going to be teaching (!) it!!

ahhhh ive been so bad i’ve barely been reading 😭😭😭

i swear i’m not some freak who willingly reads multiple books at once i’m reading this (again) for student teaching

i tried to see how many pages i cld read in an hour but idk how to convert it to words per minute oof

… i’m doing it again. i legit can’t get myself to keep reading dorian gray which makes me mad cus ppl hype it up sm. hoping it’s kinda just an overall slump and that reading this will sorta get me back reading again

so i guess i’m a big fat liar cus i did not finish this book on the train. i did, however, get pretty far. this book is a collection of short stories– not something i would usually go for but honestly i have really enjoyed them. some more than others tho duh. standouts for me are the one about the two strangers on the subway and the one about rufus the dog.

i normally try not to read more than one book at a time but… i’m about to sit on the train for 45 mins and i am fairly confident that i can read all if not most of this book in the time it takes me to get from grand central to harrison. i picked this book up because the author made bojack horseman which i loved so vvv excited to read this!

just finished the first part of the book. i find myself focusing more on individual lines than the story as a whole. this definitely has to do with the book being so full of dialogue. the lines on the brevity of life have been what has really stuck with me so far.
