When you read half the book in one afternoon that is probably a sign that it’s going to rank pretty high. Can’t wait to finish it.

First book in a while that I really don’t want to put down.

Actually got this far 5 days ago but just want to mark it. All that is left is part 3 and to bring this puppy home. I have loved the ride so far!

This audiobook is great.
The scene I just listened to… spice.

I honestly want to no life and read this to the end in the next week, but alas I am reading it with friends. I am loving the experience of that and touching base every few hundred pages.

Oh boy, I can already tell I will be a different person after this book. Giving vibes of ACOTAR and FBAA.

The narrator is killing the vibe, but I’m powering through.

Smut… but he says darlin unironically and it’s hard to fathom that word actually being used to address someone.

I am really enjoying the narrator and the “vibes” of this book. However, I am not sure I’m in the correct head space for it. May go in and out of listening to this over the next month.

The book is still just getting started, but have concerns on the narrator. Her voice gets quite whiny when she does other characters. I am really hoping that doesn’t continue.

You know what I realized today? You can absolutely tell when an author’s characters have been living in their head for a while versus those that they created to fit a genre that is popular. I believe we all are book junkies looking for that next fix of the series we loved. Unfortunately, we are left with fillers and series cut with plots and characters thrown together as fast as possible.

This audiobook is going alright, as far as narrator and all that. I’m a bit bored, but I feel like that is just how all V. E. Schwab books go for the first part and you just have to deal with it for a spectacular ending… we will see.

If life wasn’t a thing, this book would be done. Love it.

This audiobook narrator is very confused. She used a Scottish accent for someone that was supposed to have a Russian accent…

4 "chortles"... will we get to 5?
This is an alright enough story. I am completely lost when it comes to the old lady's story... maybe because it is audiobook?

Not going to lie… I am not tracking the 5,000 people in the old lady’s story. This is a romance book right? I’m this far in and feel no love.

Alright Emily Henry, you have used “chortle” twice now… is this your favorite word to describe a chuckle, laugh, giggle, snicker, tee-hee?
