Just realized that now that goodreads has partial star ratings I can go and give all my least favourite books a 0.25 star rating and it makes me happy

Every time I read a book set in the world of the white rat I fall more in love with it. Phenomenal Easter eggs (“you’re taking advantage of the fact that humans can’t smell, aren’t you”), constantly building the world in the best way, meeting phenomenal new characters while learning more about the old ones. God I’m obsessed.

Do you ever read a book that has such great potential as a story but is so unbelievably goddamned horrible that it just absolutely enrages you? That’s this series for me. It’s so ass but I want to love it because the concept is fun but christ is it ever atrocious

I think they just took a middle chapter from the book and put it at the beginning and called it a prologue. It was 19 pages long for gods sake

This is so confusing the prologue starts in the middle of the story
