I'm skimming at this point. I have very mixed emotions about this book. There are parts that I genuinely enjoy, & characters that I care about (or at least did, they now mostly get superficial treatment), but overall it feels very tedious & repetitive. 600+ pages in, & still very little has happened. There's no reason for those book to be this long - Penn needs a better editor, or one that she listens to better.
