Reading this for a discussion group with colleagues. Looking forward to the conversations.

Sad to say I didn’t finish this book… I meant to, but wasn’t really compelled to go back to it before my Libby loan expired.
I found the book repetitive and meandering. There were good points, but not always clearly connected or fleshed out. Maybe I’ll return to it at another time… in written form.

Fascinating premise… This book gave me so much on which to reflect. It gave words to my tacit understanding of what is lost when the voices of women and the poor are ignored, silenced, or deemed inconsequential by men, who are often on the greater end of a power differential. The implications are endless.

Stuck in an airport for a few hours, so why not

Started this book this morning... Almost half finished. I can hardly put it down. Fantastic read....

I can't seem to put this book down... It's not extremely well written, but I am enjoying it a great deal...

Enjoying the book so far... I'm loving the fact that part of the book taps into science I hadn't thought about in ages. This book is also raising some justice issues I had never considered.
