This is so weird

I like the way Madeline Miller makes you sympathize with circe, you can start to see why she makes decisions and the way she slowly becomes more mature. In my opinion, the last few pages i’ve read can be really understood mostly by women who have experienced SA. It’s a harsh topic but the approach is very respectful.

I’m finding this book very interesting, but kind of hard to read as english is not my first language. Anyhow, I find it admirable how Siddhartha becomes one with his surroundings, it makes me feel as though we don’t often notice how much of ourselves are influenced by the world around us. It is easy to get lost in hollow pleasures, but it is important to stay present and remember ourselves.

i love the depth of the writing in this book, the way it describes smells, textures, colours and even feelings. I also like the way Patroclus is an incredibly deep character, he knows the importance of his feelings and has a high moral compass.
