2 stars. FL and ML are unlikable. Aiyi is just money crazy / cares all about her reputation which makes sense but just so frustrating with the choices she makes. Ernest was likable at first but once he kept his sister from going to America with a family who would’ve adopted her after he was neglecting her. Also ssasson had Ernest save the nude pics during crisis smh more important things to worry about than that

This book is not for the lighthearted jfc

The soldiers got her sister in law to prove a point. Her husband tried to protect SIL but got shot in the head. Little Son ran to dead father and soldiers grabbed his lil ankles and flung him like a frisbee so he hit the wall and went limp. Then soldiers sliced off SIL breasts. All the while her bff with status bc of her husband just watched and didn’t say anything

I am loving this book so far. It’s hilarious.
The whole time I’m thinking they paid for couple massage but they really are just massaging each other lol. Great for the story but terrible for the value lol

Has a lot of cliche moments with comments like this is the best thing I’ve ever had etc.
“Never have I felt this way” type.
I don’t like when books in a series are similar and this is feeling similar to the first book with slightly different characters and backgrounds. Like ml and fl start liking each other but can’t be together so they cling together but shouldn’t but still do
So much repetition too ugh

Sigh… Annie is so self conscious that it’s becoming her only quality. It’s getting harder to finish this book

Sigh…. Annie is so self conscious. I liked her better in the first book. She’s twisting what Will is saying and self destructing

I don’t like Larissa’s mom at all. She called Mike to fix their sink for free and she abused his generosity at dinner by choosing the most expensive restaurant in the city and ordering so much food. If anything, she should be treating him.

I don’t like when the ML and FL suddenly start falling for each other without any real meaning to besides looks. I think that’s what it just is so I have a hard time bonding with the characters since it just seems superficial

Characters felt one dimensional. The flirting before the sex was cute and intriguing but once they had sex, it was just too much smut. I cringed every time he called her honey or baby.

Trying so hard to finish this

Read up to page 122 and can’t finish. Too boring and the characters seem flat
