I am baffled.

Two people decide to marry to remove societal pressures which I can understand to an extent but he's a total ass who hates woman and she emotionally inept and works at a convenience store to learn human behavior.

It's like a robot dating the last man alive

I would yeet the book at this point because she's gonna marry that WEASEL of a man but I also need to figure out what the hell is going on

"He seemed to have this odd circuitry in his mind that allowed him to see himself only as the victim and never the perpetrator"

1. Kind of iconic that she doesn't remember names but remembers the number of managers she has had while working at the store
2. This woman needs a hobby that is the convenience store and a butt load of therapy

She is insane and I am back to being appalled

"And so I went to the tool shed, took out a spade, ran over to the unruly boys, and bashed one of them over the head."

This is not the most unhinged thing she has done in eight pages and I don't know whether to be appalled or laugh

"I couldn't see the value of life anymore. I couldn't seem to fit in, at home or at school. I just withdrew into myself and closed everything else out. I was overly self-conscious. I had too many ideals and ambitions for one person, and because of that, I ended up without a single one I could hold on to. I was an empty person."

Shots were fired again and I am now just bleeding out

Moments like this remind of how terrible I am at standing still, an opportunity to watch the world go by calls to me.

This is a fantastic sentence to end the story on and I am so ecstatic at the hope this book emanates

This has taken a direction I didn't anticipate and I am SCREAMING
