Y’all I am SCREAMING lmao there is so much happening that I am so glad I know another bookstagrammer with an arc… bc how am I supposed to sit on this Tom foolery until APRIL? LMAO

Tell me how this textbook is making me tear up... Libraries, librarians, the dissemination of information, and the history of our country make me emotionalll. 🙃

This book is truly nutty I did NOT expect to fly through it in a single go like this.

The past couple of pages have me falling in LOVE with JK Rowling’s writings and her understanding of people again

Liiiiterally less than ten pages in, I know I’m a bit preemptive but so far I LOVE reading a story from a dead persons POV, I haven’t ever before. This is an awesome concept. But I am DYING on internal laughter every time the main character broodily longs for a skater, or a punk!!!! Something about it 😂😂😂 is so true to high school but so ridiculously funny.

Honestly this book is pretty good so far LMAO. Lots of tabs being made and phrases and quotes being highlighted on my end. I definitely come away from reading a few pages feeling uplifted and a little bit lighter??

I don’t know the author from her internet stuff or anywhere else before reading this, but I’m on page two and already love her/ wasn’t expecting to be emotional over an exercise book LOL

I didn’t read anything about this book before I started so I gennnnuinely was thinking “hundreds of pages about one day in high school, sounds about right!” But I see now that she lives past that one day?? Not a clue where we’re going from here

This book is so interesting and Insanely beautiful, both the art inside and the actual build quality of the book and it’s pages. Perrrrfect distribution of visuals and words for something like this. A quick read through, but something to pick up time and time again / to keep on display!

the interesting thing about this book is that there aren’t REALLY different characters. They are all kind of the same weird Hank character speaking in a way that normal people probably wouldn’t speak in order to deliver these lines and ideas that Hank believes in. It’s not normal, but it still works

22 pages in and I’m emotional???

The blurbs on the back of this book are all very unrelated to the content and more so nostalgic than anything else, and I’ve got to say I’m right there with them so far 😂 this is very bizarre

Struggling to make my way through the rest, but I’m committed! The only thing that I have to say at this point is that suggesting I should reach each chapter twice, that it’s in fact necessary, is laughable.

Only at page 100 did it start feeling too repetitive and kiss ass. Hopefully the next 100 turn it around 😂

“The compulsive buyer is thought to be in a search for self— and looking for identity and stability in purchases, objects, or the social status that they feel is granted them once the new object is in their possession.” I like this book because it’s able to take such huge concepts and boil them down to a beautifully quotable and comprehensible sentence or two. #relatable 😂

First of all, I’m obsessed with this. Every page has made me feel a lot for some reason. I like the quotation-less dialogue. I feel like I haven’t read many or any fiction without.

I freaking love this book. It’s so easy for me to fall in love with intelligent women discussing their passions. This is nonfiction, but the authors personal stories carry you along on an exciting journey. She gets the facts across while continuously keeping you hooked. SUPER interesting to look at things we’re so used to and take for granted in a scientific light.

Wow! This book was SO awesome, a solid five stars from me until right now. Now I feel uncomfortable with the book as a whole. Barry Lyga’s “The Truth About Dino Girl” is an embarrassing and sad edition to this otherwise wholesome book. Sorry to see he was included having ended the story like that, when it could have been compleeeetely normal, but the executive decision was made to have it be gross.

Angels in the snow!!!! Was so good!!! I’ve never read Matt De La Peña before, but I’m sure going to look into him now! It was so sad to see that story go and so unexpected, I’d gotten really into it.

Didn’t realize the similarities as I was reading TFIOS but wooow this book is about some infinities being greater than others 😂

YOOOO!!!! Could you write a more annoying character than Jason !!! Please tell me this douche canoe goes away ! I have 351 pages left !!!! Okay !!!!!

I’m loooving every second of this, but also 3/4 of the way through the book and still questioning if there is a point. Like I LOVE every character but it almost feels like there’s too much going on and nothing tying it all to one central point. Might just be me
