Hamna is on page 30 of 561 of Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows, #2)
Reading this second book after watching 3 seasons of Bungo Stray Dogs and I can't help but make out the similarities between Kaz Brekker and bad Osamu Dazai, slick with hands, remorse, manipulative and a mafia/gang member, also Kaz's "The really bad monsters never look like monsters" immediately reminded me of L Lawliet's monster speech.

1200-2000 individuals were nationally representative of 80-90% population. How? Isn't Pakistan the 4th most populous country?

The reason for Millie's conviction wasn't as big a reveal as I think the writer intended. However, reading about Andrew going through the torture he brings to others was an absolute delight.

Oh, the horror!! I knew this Andrew guy was too good to be true.. but my guess was that he was involved in all her wife's psychic plan and just pretended to be the sane one.. It's uncanny how similar Nina and Millie are.. parallels of each other. Explains why Nina would want Enzo to be around their house more... He was protecting Nina and Millie and that's why Andrew was so bothered by him.

My experience reading this book has been strikingly similar to that of "The Silent Patient," where, under the guise of a psychological thriller, I found myself repeatedly reading about relationship drama.

As if it wasn't tacit enough from the moment Millie saw Andrew that it was gonna happen.. and what does he mean he's not sorry about it? Tf?

Do I have to read about how handsome Millie finds Andrew on every single page? It's getting repetitive and annoying.

It feels more like a marital drama than a psychological thriller up to this point. This trope is so common in TV shows from my country that my inherent dislike for it is influencing my opinion about this book.

Honestly, I get the message behind the approach that is the whole universe is telling Nora to be more than what she is etc .... But it's repetitive for me. I would've much preferred a really close one, telling her not to lose her passions in the world's angst, like Yuji's grandpa's last words to him in Jujutsu Kaisen, which remained with him throughout the manga.

Also, the writing style is hard to get through.

Nat distracted Max with that? Talking about The libel case against Pip.. and max didn't get suspicious? Like why now at this time of night she wants to talk about it? Outside his house? by herself?

The Frequent recurrence of "Save yourself to save yourself" is getting annoying. Also, Stella, Daniel, Jamie and Eliza have been so kind to Pip despite not being friends. Maybe they do it out of pity for her but I think Pip could've asked for help or even vented about her problems to anyone..but she didn't.

Umm, I don't know if I've grown well known of Holly Jackson's writing, but Becca Bell wearing the gold chain with round pendant is a straight give-away that Jason Bell is the DT Murderer.

Natalie da Silva tells Pip in book 2, "We're the same, you and I". The Same thing is said by Charlie Green to Pip in the same book. And now Luke Eaton is saying "You think you're special but you're not". All these little interactions build on so much of how Pip is not your Saint "does no harm" Protagonist. And that she is vulnerable to creating huge problems in her life and for others.

Pip is going through PTSD and all her actions is related to it. That's all that's happening in this book by now.

I thought I had enough tolerance to go about this book, but the way my head started spinning entering chapter 8. The abstruse dialogues and scenery Is so forced.. and to think I still have 3 chapters to unveil the mystery ugh.

HA! I KNEW IT. I... KNEW ... IT. something was up with this Charlie Green and Flora from the minute pip receives the "hello pip" text and Charlie's just shows up at her door just a few minutes later with "info on Jamie".... Jamie broke in their house because the watch was Layla's dead mother's watch and she knew exactly who bought it from charity?? Yeah right.

I don't know how much I would've liked this book if I bought the paperback and read it myself but the audiobook read by David Barnes really adds to the dialogues, drama and mystery of the book.

This Charlie green and flora has something going on.. Layla's facebook and Instagram account was made on February 17th, probably right near when Charlie and Flora moved in Little Kilton. And Layla Tinder shows that she lives just a mile away from Pip and Charlie and flora lives four houses down... Also Charlie saying "some people are pretty good at hiding who they really are" is really suspicious to me.
