Sad I’m sad for Sarah because she hasn’t found love and I’m devastated that Handful lost her mother and that her foot was maimed. I love Charlotte’s spirit but Handful is my favorite. Historical fiction that makes you really feel for the characters.

3 or 4 stars. It’s interesting but very preachy. Also the flashbacks are a little jarring.

I’m irritated that she left Y and went to save Hs life.
