I absolutely hate the vivid description of a child dying of the plague. God you just feel so terrible reading about his suffering.

Being a prisoner in your own home is crazy.

The more and more symbolism I see about the Nazi invasion in France, the more interested I am in reading.

« Enfin, est-il accusé d'avoir enterré sa mère ou d'avoir tué un homme ? »

Il s'en fout de tout.

Sexy Nazi lady, gun, revenge, spies.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S DEAD WHAT?!!!!

Sigh..... Mungo, Fairchild. Low-key feel bad for Fairchild, he's just trying to do what he believes is right.

This poor man just wanted to get revenge for his lover whom he believes is dead (she's not) tried his hardest to avoid trading slaves and now he's a slave trader.

I feel so bad. Not one single thing has gone right for him.

Damn bro, Mungo is determined. I wish I was that determined, about anything LMAOAO

Tippi is such a cutie. I imagine a dude built like a fridge but with the soul of a dove

The man trying to get back to his lover who's a slave is working on a slaving ship... The irony 😮‍💨

This book isn't really the genre I'd normally read. I'm two chapters in so far and I honestly think it's pretty interesting!

Ok, I changed my mind. I like the Coachman now. He's actually super sweet

The coachman is so fucking annoying omg kill him. Hap better rip him apart, he pisses me off.
