I just read the summary again and this sentence is so interesting now that I am almost half way through this book: "One of these people is a ghost, and one of these stories is a lie."

Michaela is an interesting character. I truly find her so annoying, but I also feel bad for her.

I love how subtle but huge Hananoi's reactions are whenever Hotaru takes initiative or does something that he isn't expecting but wants.

Hotaru is helping heal Hananoi without even realizing it 💖

Listen... I know Hananoi is a little toxic, but the way he glares at people 👀he unfortunately does get a pass with pretty privilege 😂

"He's dead before he even had a chance to get started." 😂😂 I know Hananoi is very sus in the earlier volumes, but Hotaru's reactions to the things he says always makes me laugh.

Knowing the situation with Hotaru's grandpa makes the chapters around Hananoi's birthday hit even harder. The little hints are wild.

This was going to be a five star until he went on a date with her sister 😭
