it’s so funny that they’re all terrified of an elevator - also i suspect a plot twist coming soon - maybe not a plot twist but a “reveal of information” 🤷‍♀️

its a really good book - the way the protagonist’s inner monologue is written makes it so so relatable.

i’m loving this book but maybe that’s just because mommy issues and imposter syndrome

i was not expecting Margot to win the governor election, again im most intrigued by her story. time to address the elephant in the room - how did Allie go from a trauma survivor to a cult leader? maybe she’ll become an antagonist? idk but there are some really good parts of this book and some awful parts as well

so far i’m most interested in Margot and Tunde’s pov, their experiences to me are the most realistic, with Margot as the mayor she had to speak publicly on the situation while worrying for her family, and Tunde attempting to gain fame for documenting it. Allies pov at first was really good until she joined the convent.

interesting concept, but takes itself almost too seriously. I do really like how it switches povs from four characters.
