Things are so bad right now...I pray for the MMC and FMC

Dang…that got dark real fast. I’m not gonna lie, I’ve never read a book that had that in it. It was quite the experience…

Man chapter 23 is all I’ve ever wanted to see happen within a couple. Loved it!

Love the dynamic between mmc and fmc. He’s compassionate, attentive, and protective of her. She’s patient, sympathetic, and blushy…they’re adorable :3

I LOVE MIMI MATTHEWS! I swear to God! This is the only author I’ve read books from who actually has their characters communicate with each other! The clear communication just avoids the (ugh) miscommunication trope, and makes each interaction much sweeter and more developing when it comes to the romance. The lead couple are getting along very nicely, very adorably, and I’m already swooning <3

LOVE THIS BOOK SO FAR! It’s honey sweet, soft, and so so tender romance. Unlike the book I’ve put on pause…I’m just not into insta-lust. Matthews writes fluffy romance first before, and I appreciate that greatly :)

It’s pretty good so far. Probably just me, but the mmc has a thing down there in basically every chapter for our fmc, and I’m not the biggest fan of that. I wish there was more soft romance before intense romance. I like how the characters are developed. You can really see how the mmc is affected by his scars and how he thinks he’s unlovable. Hopefully our fmc will come and prove top him that isn’t the case!
