Now that the Hawaiian monarchy has been taken over, it is interesting to find out that King Kalākaua and Queen Liliuokalani both were in favor of Ka’iulani being betrothed to the Japanese Prince, Komatsu, so that the alliance between Japan and Hawai’i could have helped keep the monarchy alive. But also does that mean that certain events could have been prevented altogether had that course of action been taken?

It’s very interesting learning the politics and the upsetting fall of the Hawaiian Monarchy. I have just reached the point where they go over Queen Liliuokalani has surrendered.

This book immediately hooked me, and if I wasn’t on vacation I would’ve finished it within a day. I can’t wait to see how the rest of this book unfolds!!

Just finished Chapter 20! It’s definitely a change from seeing Rhys & Feyre, but i love reading Cassian & Nesta’s relations develop! Also now we have to go after the Harp, Mask, and Crown!

Just finished chapter 65! The book has definetly picked up since the Highlord meeting! I can’t believe he came back to help her at Hybern’s camp!! I did NOT expect him to show up!!

Pretty mild so far, completely new world of imagining characters 🐺, but I feel like this will get interesting shortly. Feyre is now entering Pythian!👀
