I fear this series has me in such a chokehold. I binged and re-read book one yesterday to re-familiarize myself with this world and GAAHHH I forgot how much I LOVE IT. This 2nd story is incredible so far my gosh. Already a 5-star read.

Okay guys I'm finally committing to
a) a fantasy book, &
b) a trilogy
who is she??? wow.

anyway 5 pages in and I'm hooked. I've been wanting to read a series by a male author; I feel like I've been reading a ton of female authors, and for fantasies that usually spells heavy on the romance. I'm just looking for a pure, fun, unadulterated fantasy.

I think this will fit the bill.
