Such a contrast between the hound n Cersei teaching Sansa the cruelty of the world while Jon finds the humanity

Tyrion’s infatuation with Shae reminds me much of how men today feel about younger women. He loves that she is innocent, naive and obedient. Shae has a certain self respect but her position locks her into accepting predatory behavior. Such parts of GoT as a whole make it difficult for me to read at times. I can’t decide if such depictions of objectification and violence against women is necessary to the story.
