😨 all I have to say right now

Surprised at the latter half of the book that has taken some twists and turns to the story that were not expected. 😅

Been a slow read for me, lots of information/details that are important to understand Chinese medicine and Chinese culture with women in the 15th century. Historical fiction at its finest.

Reading with my second graders and have loved it so far

Taking my time to listen to this one audibly. So far I found myself a bit bored (which could be because I just really dislike audible books. I thrive through visuals). But the stories of each individual is unique and God has truly used Gregory Boyle to be the hands and feet of God to a community of people that are often shunned because of their sins.
